Excursion Description
Quad Bike Ride is a dynamic safari program for those who want to ride across the Arabian desert and get vivid emotions without a long route. It is a short morning trip without a visit to a Bedouin village.
After a briefing, you head out in a convoy along desert trails on quad bikes. Along the way there are stops for photos and a short rest, so you can enjoy the views without rushing.
The program is great for active fun: you'll feel the real desert terrain, the wind, and the safari atmosphere, while the route stays comfortable in length.

What's Included in the Excursion Program
- Transfer to the quad bike base at around 07:30. We confirm the exact time after booking; the drive takes 20–40 minutes depending on the hotel location.
- Briefing on operating the vehicle before starting.
- Quad bike riding for about 45 minutes together with photo stops. A visit to a Bedouin village is not included.
- Return to the hotel at approximately 09:30–10:00.
The Excursion Price Includes
- Instructor services.
- Transport service around Hurghada.
Extra charge for remote areas: El Gouna, Sahl Hasheesh and Makadi — +$10 (round trip), Soma Bay and Safaga — +$20 (round trip).
*The price is per booking, round trip, for up to 6 people. The transfer may be shared.
Not Included in the Excursion Price
- A keffiyeh (head/face scarf); can be bought on site if needed (approximately $2-3).
- Dust goggles (rental/purchase on site, approximately $2-5).
- Personal expenses and tips (optional).
Additional Information
- The group usually has up to 10-20 vehicles.
- A private format is available on request.
- The route is ridden in a convoy behind the instructor.
- The quad bikes are all of one type, with no separate division into single and double models. The price depends on the number of participants on one quad bike and includes the transfer to the excursion and back.
- For two participants on one quad bike the total weight must be no more than 150 kg. The cost is $24 for two.
- If the equipment offered looks faulty, contact our booking department immediatelyto resolve the issue with the organizer on the spot.
- Only participants aged 16 and up may drive (with confident independent riding).
What to bring
- Comfortable clothing for the season and closed-toe shoes. In winter bring a warm cardigan and trousers.
- A hat and a keffiyeh (or buy one on site).
- Sunglasses/dust goggles, sunscreen, and wet wipes.
- Water and cash for small expenses.

Why is the price lower than at the hotel?
Hotel excursions are often sold through several middlemen, which raises the price. We work directly with local organizers and confirm the program, transfer, and terms in advance. That's why the price is lower, while the excursion itself stays the same: you're picked up, taken through the program, and brought back.
What transport is used?
It depends on the excursion and group size. It could be a car, minivan, minibus, large bus, or yacht. Air-conditioned transport is usually used for longer trips. We confirm the exact departure time and transfer format after booking.
When and how do I pay for the excursion?
Most excursions are paid on the spot: on the bus, when boarding the yacht, or at the start of the program. Prepayment usually isn't required. Exceptions apply to private trips, flights, and programs that involve tickets bought in advance or paperwork.
Are the organizers licensed?
Excursions are run by local organizers who are permitted to work with tourists. In Egypt, permits are required for transport, yachts and some routes. So you may sometimes be asked for hotel details, a voucher or a photo of your passport — this is needed to arrange the trip, not just "for show".
Is there insurance during the excursion?
Your travel insurance usually applies throughout Egypt. If you're on an organized excursion, the local organizer is responsible for transport and the program. Before the trip, it's best to check your insurance terms, especially if you're planning diving, quad biking, or other active programs.
What should I do if I forgot something after the excursion?
Message me right away with what you lost and where it might have been left: on the bus, the yacht, or at the hotel. I'll contact the organizer. If the item is found, we can usually arrange to return it. But it's best to check your belongings before leaving the transport, since retrieving lost items afterward can be difficult.
Do I need to wait for the excursion or adjust my schedule?
After booking, I'll send you the approximate departure time. Sometimes the transfer may arrive a bit earlier or later, since tourists are picked up from different hotels. If the time changes significantly, I'll let you know in advance.
Where can I find a photographer after the excursion?
Photographers at excursions usually work independently from the organizers. If you'd like to buy photos or video, it's best to get the photographer's contact and agree on the price before paying. If you don't need photos, you can simply decline.
