Karnak Temple

Karnak is the largest temple complex in ancient Egypt. It was built and expanded by many pharaohs, so structures from different eras survive here: pylons, courtyards, obelisks, sanctuaries, and the Sacred Lake.

The main highlight is the hypostyle hall, with rows of massive columns covered in reliefs and hieroglyphs. During the excursion, the guide will talk about the complex's construction, ancient rituals, and the significance of Karnak in Egyptian history.

The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut

Hatshepsut's mortuary temple sits at the foot of sheer cliffs on the west bank of the Nile. Three terraces, colonnades, and long ramps create the recognizable silhouette of one of Luxor's most unusual temples.

The guide will introduce you to the story of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut, her reign, and the expedition to the mysterious land of Punt depicted in the temple's reliefs.

The Valley of the Kings

The Valley of the Kings is a rock-cut necropolis of the New Kingdom pharaohs. The tombs are hidden inside the mountains and decorated with colorful paintings, religious texts, and scenes of the rulers' journey into the afterlife.

The standard program includes a visit to three open tombs. The list may vary depending on site opening arrangements. A ticket to Tutankhamun's tomb is purchased separately, time and availability permitting.
