Excursion Description
Super Safari for the whole family is an action-packed desert program with activities, beautiful locations and an evening atmosphere. The excursion suits adults and families with children who want to get the most impressions from one outing.
The program includes: quad bikes, buggies, a jeep ride toward a Bedouin village, a short camel ride and photo stops. In the second part of the route — sunset, dinner and a show (depending on the chosen package).
The route runs with a Russian-speaking guide and an instructor. The pace is comfortable, and the program is designed to combine thrills, a desert walk, and a family-friendly format.

- Family Safari: adult $18, child $9 (without dinner and show).
- Super Safari: adult $20, child $10 (with dinner and show).
Important: participants may drive over 16 years old. Admission is discussed individually on the spot. An adult ticket from 13 years does not in itself give the right to drive the equipment.
A private format is available on request.
What's Included
- Hotel transfer to the base at around 12:30, in summer around 13:30. We give the exact time after booking. The drive takes 20–40 minutes depending on the hotel location.
- A briefing on driving the quad bike and safety rules.
- Quad bike riding about 40–45 minutes.
- Buggy riding about 10–15 minutes.
- A jeep ride across the desert to a Bedouin village, about 20 minutes one way.
- A short camel ride for photos, about 4–7 minutes.
- For package No. 2: sunset, dinner, and a show program.
- Return to the hotel at approximately 18:30 (around 19:30 in summer).

- Children up to 5 years inclusive are free.
Extra charge for remote areas: El Gouna, Sahl Hasheesh and Makadi — +$10 (round trip), Soma Bay and Safaga — +$20 (round trip).
*The extra charge is per booking (up to 6 people); the transfer may be shared.
What's Not Included in the Price
- A keffiyeh (a scarf for the head and face) can be bought on the spot (approximately $2–3).
- Anti-dust goggles — rent or buy on the spot (approximately $2–5).
- Personal expenses.
Additional Information
- A group can usually have 10–20 units of equipment.
- A private format is available on request. While you ride, an instructor on a separate quad bike accompanies you, without a shared column; the pace is agreed with them. A Russian-speaking instructor gives the briefing at the base. The transfer, the jeep ride and the rest of the program remain shared.
- Desert riding is done in a column following the instructor, with stops.
- If the total weight of two participants on one quad bike exceeds 150 kg, a separate quad bike is offered with an extra charge for the price difference. If one participant stays at the base, their payment is not refunded.
- If a participant cannot handle driving a separate quad bike, they are moved to ride as a passenger with another participant or an instructor; the cost is not refunded.
- If you decline the dinner and show in package no. 2 on the spot, the price difference is not refunded.
- The quad bikes are all of one type, with no separate division into single and double seats. The price includes the transfer to the excursion and back.
- If the equipment offered looks faulty, contact our booking department immediatelyto resolve the issue with the organizer on the spot.
What to bring
- Comfortable clothing; in winter a warm cardigan and trousers.
- Comfortable closed-toe shoes.
- A hat and a keffiyeh to protect the face from dust.
- Sunscreen, sunglasses or dust goggles.
- Water, wet wipes and cash for small expenses.

Why is the price lower than at the hotel?
Hotel excursions are often sold through several middlemen, which raises the price. We work directly with local organizers and confirm the program, transfer, and terms in advance. That's why the price is lower, while the excursion itself stays the same: you're picked up, taken through the program, and brought back.
What transport is used?
It depends on the excursion and group size. It could be a car, minivan, minibus, large bus, or yacht. Air-conditioned transport is usually used for longer trips. We confirm the exact departure time and transfer format after booking.
When and how do I pay for the excursion?
Most excursions are paid on the spot: on the bus, when boarding the yacht, or at the start of the program. Prepayment usually isn't required. Exceptions apply to private trips, flights, and programs that involve tickets bought in advance or paperwork.
Are the organizers licensed?
Excursions are run by local organizers who are permitted to work with tourists. In Egypt, permits are required for transport, yachts and some routes. So you may sometimes be asked for hotel details, a voucher or a photo of your passport — this is needed to arrange the trip, not just "for show".
Is there insurance during the excursion?
Your travel insurance usually applies throughout Egypt. If you're on an organized excursion, the local organizer is responsible for transport and the program. Before the trip, it's best to check your insurance terms, especially if you're planning diving, quad biking, or other active programs.
What should I do if I forgot something after the excursion?
Message me right away with what you lost and where it might have been left: on the bus, the yacht, or at the hotel. I'll contact the organizer. If the item is found, we can usually arrange to return it. But it's best to check your belongings before leaving the transport, since retrieving lost items afterward can be difficult.
Do I need to wait for the excursion or adjust my schedule?
After booking, I'll send you the approximate departure time. Sometimes the transfer may arrive a bit earlier or later, since tourists are picked up from different hotels. If the time changes significantly, I'll let you know in advance.
Where can I find a photographer after the excursion?
Photographers at excursions usually work independently from the organizers. If you'd like to buy photos or video, it's best to get the photographer's contact and agree on the price before paying. If you don't need photos, you can simply decline.
