Why a Mini-Group Is More Convenient
The excursion runs in a group of no more than 10 people. Instead of a large tour bus, an air-conditioned minibus is used, so boarding and gathering tourists usually takes less time.
A Russian-speaking guide joins the group directly in Cairo. The small format lets you hear the guide's commentary better, ask questions, and move between the program's sites more comfortably.
The actual travel time and time at each stop depends on traffic conditions, tourist police operations, and how busy the museum and the Giza plateau are.
The New Grand Egyptian Museum
The New Grand Egyptian Museum, also known as GEM, is located near the Giza plateau. This modern museum complex is dedicated to the history of Ancient Egypt and brings together unique archaeological finds from different eras.
The exhibition features monumental statues, everyday items, works of ancient art, and treasures tied to the history of the pharaohs. The halls open and the viewing route are determined by the museum's rules on the day of the visit.
The Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx
The Giza plateau is home to the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus. The Pyramid of Cheops is the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still standing today.
The main program includes viewing the pyramids from outside and visiting the Great Sphinx site. Entry inside the Pyramid of Cheops is not included and is paid separately, time and ticket availability permitting.
